Most test-takers find math to be the hardest section of the Praxis ParaPro Assessment. It's primarily because there are no calculators allowed.
Also, many paraprofessionals tend to dislike math. As a result, solving math problems becomes even more difficult for them.
Therefore, for we've create this additional parapro math practice test to cover the skills that may have been missed in Test 1.
ParaPro Math Practice Test Pattern!
Just like the real parapro exam, this parapro math practice test will asses your ability to solve math problem in the context of classroom.
Primarily, the questions will be about the number sense, geometry, and data analysis skills.
Test Pattern will be:
- Total Questions: 30 multiple-choice items
- Calculator: Not permitted
- Skills Tested: Arithmetic, algebraic problem-solving, data analysis, and geometric concepts
The total length of a paraprofessional exam is 2.5 hours. If you divide that by 3, you'll have 50 minutes to do the math section. But since, it's also the most difficult part, dedicating an hour will be enough.
Although this test has no time limit and you can take as long as you need, we encourage you to keep track of your time. That way, you'll be better prepared for the real exam.
